with a deep passion for storytelling. Her multilingualism – fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, English, German and Persian – helps her to reach and amplify voices from diverse communities. She has worked as a reporter, journalist, presenter and documentary filmmaker with local and international television channels, including Rudaw, Kurdistan TV, Zagros TV and Deutsche Welle. She has also written articles for newspapers such as TAZ Zeitung and CFRI and was director of KurdistanIN, a website available in four languages. Her work covers significant events in Iraq, Syria and Jordan, focusing on the stories of people living in conflict zones and the challenges faced by minority groups. She is also a member of the Marie Colvin Journalists’ Network.
