Dida Faridoon is a Kurdish journalist and documentary filmmaker from Iraq, With a strong background in journalism, she has worked as a reporter, writer, presenter, and filmmaker for both local and international media outlets. Her work has been featured by prominent media organizations including Rudaw, Kurdistan TV, Zagros TV, Deutsche Welle, EISMENA in France, TAZ Tageszeitung in Germany, and the Italian newspaper Il Foglio. Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, English, German, and Persian, she has covered key developments across Iraq, Syria, and Jordan, with a consistent focus on the human stories emerging from conflict and the ongoing struggles of marginalized communities. She is also a member of the Marie Colvin Journalists' Network, an international organization dedicated to supporting journalists reporting from hostile and high-risk environments. and she study at Rome international film school.
